Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinic Director

Everyone is entitled to health and wellness

After I finished studying Biomedical Science the plan was to go onto train as a Medical Doctor, however my mind was changed when I discovered Chiropractic. Most people find us because they have some sort of niggle or pain, commonly back pain, neck pain and headaches, however they soon discover it is so much more.

Chiropractic philosophy is based upon wellness and optimising your bodies own innate ability to heal.

We all remember the grazes on our knees as a child, and on occassion in later life! The plaster we put over it did not heal it, our body did it from the inside out. Our brains picked up the signal from the fall and then instructed our body what to do next, all subconsciously! Amazing right!?

As a keen cyclist, particularly mountain biking, I am very aware when my body is not moving fluidly. When I am adjusted I can feel the difference in my bodies power output. If I combine that with a great diet, plenty of water and sleep no hill can stop me (at least I would like to think!) I am therefore extremely passionate about care during sports to aid performance.

Being by the sea and the South Downs has made a huge difference to my work life balance, just being out in nature makes me smile.  Leaving behind my commute was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am now enjoying bringing my wealth of experience working with expectant mothers, children and entire families to Sussex.
